STREAM 2024-25
Welcome to STREAM, a Makerspace class for K-6 at Academy of Our Lady!
I am so excited to step outside the box to enrich the students’ learning experiences whenever possible through STREAM! It is a cross curriculum class that emphasizes and incorporates connections among Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, the Arts and Math. Many projects will be finding a solution to a problem through literature while others will be observing nature and history to discover new designs and ideas. We will use the design process to tinker, explore, design, re-design, create and test all while having fun and challenging ourselves with engineering and innovation. I believe in an education that engages the students natural curiosity, nurtures critical thinking, and helps to develop a sense of community and social responsibility.
