About the Teacher
Mrs. Pardo's Kindergarten
where faith, friends and fun meet!
We make a living by what we get,
we make a life by what we give.
-Sir Winston Churchill
I graduated from East Stroudsburg University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. I have been trained in Orton-Gillingham as well as the Superkids Reading Program. I attend various workshops each year for my professional development.
I began my teaching career at Academy of Our Lady in 1996 for 6 years (3 in First Grade and 3 in Kindergarten). I then left to raise my family. I returned to teaching Kindergarten in 2008 and I am thrilled to be starting my twenty-third year at Academy of Our Lady this fall!
My husband and I have two children. Miles will be graduating from Northeastern University this year and Ryan is a sophomore at the University of Scranton. We also have 2 indoor cats, Monty and Angela (and a stray named Mama that visits and we feed).
